1,5-Dibromo-2,6-dimethylnaphthalene

Abstract: The molecule of the title compound, C₁₂H₁₀Br₂, displays crystallographic inversion symmetry and is essentially planar. Bond lengths show the typical naphthalene pattern. The crystal packing shows no short HBr, BrBr or C-H contacts.
