Methyl 2-{[3-(2-methylphenyl)-1,2,4-oxadiazol-5-yl]methoxy}phenylacetate

Abstract: The title compound, C₁₉H₁₈N₂O₄, was synthesized by the reaction of methyl (2-hydroxyphenyl)acetate and 3-(2-methyl)phenyl-5-chloromethyl-1,2,4-oxadiazole. C-HN-type hydrogen bonds are observed in the molecular structure. In the crystal structure, there are weak intermolecular C-HO hydrogen bonds and C-H interactions.
