1-(2-Furyl)-3-phenyl-2-propen-1-one

Abstract: The molecule of the title compound, C₁₃H₁₀O₂ is nearly planar; the furyl and and phenyl rings are only slightly twisted with respect to each other, making a dihedral angle of 8.56 (6)°. The crystal structure is stabilized by weak intermolecular C-HO contacts and C-H interactions.
