Abstract: The CoII atom of the title complex, [Co(C21H30N10)](ClO4)2, located on a threefold rotation axis, is coordinated in an octahedral geometry by three imine N atoms and the three imidazole N atoms, with Co-N distance of 2.131 (3)-2.164 (3) Å, and cis and trans N-Co-N angles of 76.17 (12)-102.77 (10) and 163.66 (12)°, respectively. The perchlorate counter-anions are located on centers of symmetry.
