Abstract: In the title complex, [Ru(C₂₅H₄₆P₂)₂Cl₂] or RuCl₂(dcpm)₂ [dcpm is 1,2-bis(dicyclohexylphosphino)methane, C₂₅H₄₆P₂], the Ru atom (site symmetry ) is in a octahedral coordination environment with two chelating dcpm ligands and two trans chloro ligands.
