N-Methyl-3-(4-bromo-1H-pyrrole-2-carbonyl)aminopropionitrile

Abstract: The title compound, C₉H₁₀BrN₃O, was synthesized by condensation of N-methyl-3-aminopropionitrile with 4-bromo-2-trichloroacetylpyrrole, at room temperature, in 87.3% yield. Intermolecular N-HO hydrogen bonds give rise to dimers of the compound.
