Abstract: The title compound, C₂₁H₁₀Cl₁₀O₆, has been extracted from mushroom Phellinus sp. The molecule has a highly chlorinated diarylcatechol ether skeleton. The neighboring benzene rings are arranged approximately perpendicular to each other. There are intermolecular O-HO hydrogen bonds and ClCl/O short contacts.
