Diacetonitrileheptakis[-3,5-bis(1,1-dimethylethyl)-2-hydroxybenzoato-²O,O']trizinc(II)

Abstract: The title compound, [Zn₃(C₁₅H₂₁O₃)₆(C₂H₃N)₂], has a center of symmetry and contains one six-coordinate Zn atom located at the center of the molecule and two four-coordinate Zn atoms at the periphery. Each 3,5-bis(1,1-dimethylethyl)-2-hydroxybenzoate anion serves as a bridging ligand between the central and peripheral Zn atoms. An acetonitrile molecule is coordinated to each peripheral Zn atom.
