Abstract: In the title compound, C₁₉H₁₃NO₅, the five fused rings are essentially coplanar, while one of the O-Me bonds lies almost perpendicular to that plane. The molecule is stabilized by C-HO intermolecular hydrogen bonds, which form zigzag polymeric chains parallel to the b axis.
