Bis(aqua)bis(benzimidazole-N)bis(5-fluorouracil-1-acetate-O)cobalt(II)

Abstract: In the centrosymmetric molecule of the title compound, [Co(C₆H₄N₂O₄F)₂(C₇H₆N₂)₂(H₂O)₂], the Co^II ion is coordinated by two 5-fluorouracil-1-acetate anions via carboxylate O atoms, two water molecules and two benzimidazole ligands, forming a six-coordinate octahedral environment. N-HO and O-HO hydrogen-bond interactions are observed in the structure, leading to the formation of a three-dimensional network.
