Abstract: The title compound, C₁₈H₁₅ClN₂O₄, was synthesized by the reaction of methyl (2-hydroxyphenyl)acetate and 5-chloromethyl-3-(2-chlorophenyl)1,2,4-oxadiazole. In the crystal structure, there are a weak intramolecular C-HN hydrogen bond and intermolecular C-HO and C-H interactions.
