3,4-Dichlorobenzaldehyde (2-hydroxybenzoyl)hydrazone

Abstract: The molecule of the title compound, C₁₄H₁₀Cl₂N₂O₂, is roughly planar and displays a trans configuration with respect to the C=N double bond. The dihedral angle between the two benzene rings is 14.5 (2)°. The compound adopts a chain structure which is stabilized by intermolecular O-HO hydrogen bonds.
