catena-Poly[[(tetrahydrofuran-O)lithium(I)]--1,1,3,3-tetraphenyltriphosphane-²P¹,P³:P²]

Abstract: The title compound, [Li(C₂₄H₂₀P₃)(C₄H₈O)]_n, was obtained by the reaction of bis(triethylphosphane)platinum(II) chloride with 1,1-diphenyl-2-(trimethylsilyl)-2-lithiadiphosphane, (C₆H₅)₂P-P(SiMe₃)Li·3C₄H₈O. The compound is formed in the latter stages of the reaction. It is the first coordination polymer among known triphosphane lithium salts.
