Abstract: The title compound, [Pb₂O₂(C₆H₄N₃)₂]_n, exhibits anti-corrosion properties. The coordination around each Pb atom is different, with coordination numbers of four and five. The compound forms a polymeric chain with pairs of oxo bridges between metal centers.
