Abstract: In the centrosymmetric title compound, [Cd(NCS)₂(C₆H₈N₂)₄], the Cd^II atom is in a distorted octahedral environment. The crystal structure is stabilized by N-HS hydrogen bonds and weak N-H and C-H interactions.
