5,7-Dihydroxy-6,2'-dimethoxyisoflavone

Abstract: The title compound, C₁₇H₁₄O₆, has been isolated for the first time from Rhazya stricta. The dihedral angle between the mean planes through the benzopyran ring system and o-anisole group is 59.78 (5)°. The molecular packing is stabilized by O-HO and C-HO hydrogen bonds.
