Abstract: The title compound, C₂₁H₂₄N₂O₃, is a zwitterion of the Cinchona alkaloid complex. In the crystal structure, intermolecular O-HO and C-HO hydrogen bonds link the molecules into one-dimensional double-stranded ladders. The crystal packing is further stabilized by van der Waals forces.
