3-(1H-1,2,3-Benzotriazol-1-yl)-1-(4-methoxyphenyl)propan-1-one

Abstract: In the title compound, C₁₆H₁₅N₃O₂, the dihedral angle between the benzotriazole moiety and the other benzene ring is 74.40 (7)°. The short distance [3.488 (3) Å] between the centroids of benzene rings of neighbouring molecules may indicate a - interaction, forming centrosymmetric dimers. The packing is further stabilized by van der Waals forces.
