1-[(2-Chloro-3,4-dimethoxybenzylidene)amino]adamantane

Abstract: The title compound, C₁₉H₂₄ClNO₂, was synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The adamantyl and benzene groups are bridged by an imine group, with a C-C=N-C torsion angle of -178.2 (2)°. Weak C-HO and C-H interactions are found in the crystal packing.
