Abstract: The title compound, C₂₂H₂₂, displays no crystallographic symmetry. The central benzene ring subtends interplanar angles of 63.00 (6) and 66.09 (6)° (in opposite senses) to the outer rings. The crystal packing involves two short C-H contacts.
