Carbonyl(⁵-cyclopentadienyl)(isocyanotriphenylborato-C)(triphenylphosphine-P)iron(II)

Abstract: In the title compound, [Fe(C₅H₅)(C₁₉H₁₅BN)(C₁₈H₁₅P)(CO)], the Fe^II atom is coordinated by a carbonyl group, a triphenylphosphine ligand, an isocyanotriphenylborate ligand and a cyclopentadienyl ligand in a piano-stool structure. Two crystallographically independent molecules exist in the asymmetric unit; the Fe-CN, CN and CN-B bond distances are 1.866 (3), 1.157 (3) and 1.584 (4) Å, respectively, for one molecule, and 1.879 (3), 1.157 (3) and 1.587 (4) Å, respectively, for the other.
