Diaquadiisothiocyanatobis(pyridine N-oxide)cobalt(II)

Abstract: In the title mononuclear complex, [Co(NCS)₂(C₅H₅NO)₂(H₂O)₂], cobalt(II) has a distorted octahedral coordination formed by two N atoms from two thiocyanate anions and four O atoms from two water molecules and two pyridine N-oxide molecules. The complexes are connected to each other by O-HO and O-HS hydrogen bonds.
