A second polymorph of cyclo-tetrakis{₂-[(dimethylamino)methyl]phenyl-³C²:C²,N}copper tetrahydrofuran solvate

Abstract: The structure of the title compound, [Cu₄(C₉H₁₂N)₄]·C₄H₈O, has previously been reported in the monoclinic space group C2/c. We report here the structure of a second polymorph which crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group P2₁2₁2₁. The copper complex is located at a general position but exhibits local S₄ symmetry.
