Abstract: In the title compound, {(C₁₆H₁₈N₃OS)[PbI₃]·C₃H₇NO}_n, each Pb^II atom is bonded to six I atoms to form chains of trans face-shared PbI₆ octahedra. In the crystal structure, the cations are stacked along the c axis, with significant - interactions.
