4,6,7-Trimethoxyfuro[2,3-b]quinoline-water (2/3)

Abstract: The title compound, 2C₁₄H₁₃NO₄·3H₂O, was isolated from the plant Acronychia pendunculata. The asymmetric unit consists of two quinoline molecules and three water molecules of crystallization. Intra- and intermolecular hydrogen bonds are highly effective in forming infinite chains parallel to the b axis, thereby stabilizing the crystal structure.
