Abstract: The structure of the title dysprosium coordination polymer, [Dy(C₉H₁₆O₈)]_n, consists of Dy₂O₁₆ dimers linked by adipate bridges to form a two-dimensional layered structure. Furthermore, intermolecular O-HO hydrogen bonds link these layers into a three-dimensional network.
