Abstract: The title compound, C₂₄H₂₀O₁₀, is centrosymmetric about the central C=C bond, indicating that the molecule adopts a trans configuration and that the aromatic rings are parallel to each other. The crystal structure is stabilized by intermolecular C-HO interactions.
