Abstract: In the cation of the title complex, [Fe(C₂₁H₃₀N₁₀)](ClO₄)₂·CH₃CN, the Fe^II atom is coordinated by three imine N atoms and three imidazole N atoms in a distorted octahedral geometry, with Fe-N bond distances ranging from 2.189  (3) to 2.236  (3)  Å.
