Abstract: In the title mononuclear zinc(II) compound, [Zn(C₁₆H₃₆N₄)](ClO₄)₂, the Zn²⁺ atom lies on an inversion center and is coordinated by four N atoms from the macrocyclic ligand. The coordination geometry is slightly distorted square planar.
