Abstract: In the title mononuclear zinc(II) compound, [Zn(C16H36N4)](ClO4)2, the Zn2+ atom lies on an inversion center and is coordinated by four N atoms from the macrocyclic ligand. The coordination geometry is slightly distorted square planar.
