Abstract: The molecule of the title compound, C₁₂H₁₁ClN₂O, is non-planar, the benzene and imidazole rings making a dihedral angle of 72.5 (1)°. Molecules are linked into a three-dimensional framework by weak intermolecular C-HO and C-HN hydrogen bonds.
