O-Ethyl S-(3-oxoindan-1-yl) dithiocarbonate

Abstract: The title compound, C₁₂H₁₂O₂S₂, is a chiral O,S-dialkyl dithiocarbonate. The O-ethyl substituent and the dithiocarbonate functionality form a plane, which is twisted by 60.7 (2)° from the S-(3-oxoindan-1-yl) group.
