Abstract: In the title molecule, C7H7N5O3S, all of the atoms in the fused ring system, except for the O atom, are essentially in the same plane. The O atom forms the flap of the envelope conformation of the sultone ring. In the absence of any hydrogen-bond or
-
stacking interactions, the structure appears to be stabilized only by normal van der Waals interactions.
