3,4-Difluorobenzohydroxamic acid

Abstract: The title compound, C₇H₅F₂NO₂, was prepared by the reaction of methyl 3,4-difluorobenzoate with excess NH₂OH in basic solution. In the crystal structure, the molecules are linked into a three-dimensional extended network by N-HO, O-HO, C-HO and C-HF hydrogen-bond interactions.
