N,N'-Diethyl-4,4'-dinitrohydrazobenzene

Abstract: There are two independent molecules, A and B, in the title compound, C₁₆H₁₈N₄O₄, and the asymmetric unit consists of one molecule A and one half-molecule B; a twofold axis runs through the centre of the N-N bond of molecule B. The crystal structure is stabilized mainly by van der Waals forces.
