Abstract: The crystal structure of 1,2-bis(2-aminophenoxy)ethane, C14H16N2O2, exhibits intermolecular close contacts between the amine groups and O atoms of neighbouring molecules. In addition, weak C-H
O hydrogen-bonding interactions are present. A crystallographic twofold axis bisects the central C---C bond.
