Bis{1-[(4-methoxyphenyl)amino]-2-methylglyoximato-²N,N'}nickel(II)

Abstract: The title molecule, [Ni(C₁₀H₁₂N₃O₃)₂], possesses a crystallographic centre of symmetry at the Ni^II atom. The coordination geometry around the Ni^II atom is distorted square planar, consisting of four N atoms from two oxime ligands. The crystal packing shows two-dimensional polymeric chains, which are stabilized by a hydrogen-bonded network, and other weak intermolecular interactions.
