N-Methyl-N-propylpyrrolidinium iodide

Abstract: The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C₈H₁₈N⁺·I^-, contains one crystallographically independent N-methyl-N-propylpyrrolidinium cation and one iodide anion, both located in general positions. No significant hydrogen bonding between the carbon-bound H atoms and the halide anion is observed.
