5-(4-Fluorobenzylidene)imidazolidine-2,4-dione

Abstract: The title compound, C₁₀H₇FN₂O₂, was synthesized by the reaction of 4-fluorobenzaldehyde and imidazolidine-2,4-dione under microwave irradiation. In the crystal structure, there are intermolecular N-HO hydrogen bonds and weak - interactions.
