Ethylenediaminium tetrachlorozincate

Abstract: The title compound, (C₂H₁₀N₂)[ZnCl₄], contains a network of ethylenediaminium cations and tetrahedral tetrachlorozincate anions. A three-dimensional network of N-HCl hydrogen bonds, some of which are bifurcated, helps to establish the crystal packing.
