Abstract: The title complex, [Ni(C₂₀H₂₆N₂O)₂]Cl₂·1.24H₂O, is a mononuclear nickel(II) compound. The Ni^II atom, lying on an inversion centre, is four-coordinated in a square-planar geometry by two imine N and two phenolate O atoms from two Schiff bases.
