2-{5-[(1H-1,2,4-Triazol-1-yl)methyl]-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-ylthio}-1-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)ethanone

Abstract: In the molecule of the title compound, C₁₃H₉Cl₂N₅O₂S, prepared by the reaction of 5-[(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)methyl]-1,3,4-oxadiazole-2-thiol and 2-bromo-1-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)ethanone, the 1,3,4-oxadiazole ring makes dihedral angles of 50.56 (2) and 82.95 (4)°, respectively, with the benzene and triazole rings. Weak intermolecular C-HN hydrogen bonds link the molecules into zigzag chains extending along the b axis.
