Abstract: In the molecule of the title compound, C₂₀H₁₇N₃O₂, the two benzene rings are nearly perpendicular, whereas the acetate group is slightly twisted with respect to the attached benzene ring. Intermolecular N-HN and N-HO hydrogen bonds generate a zigzag chain which extends parallel to the b axis.
