Abstract: The Ni atom in the title complex, [Ni(C₅H₇O₂)(C₄H₁₁NO)₂]Cl, is in a distorted octahedral coordination environment. Cations are linked into centrosymmetric dimers via O-HCl hydrogen bonds involving the OH groups of the 2-(dimethylamino)ethanol ligands and the Cl^- anions.
