(1,1-Cyclobutanedicarboxylato-²O,O')(2,2'-biquinoline-²N,N')palladium(II) monohydrate

Abstract: In the title compound, [Pd(C₆H₆O₄)(C₁₈H₁₂N₂)]·H₂O, the Pd^II atom has a distorted cis-planar four-coordination geometry defined by two O atoms of a bidentate 1,1-cyclobutanedicarboxylate anion and two N atoms of the 2,2'-biquinoline ligand. In the crystal structure, centrosymmetric clusters of the complex molecules and water molecules are formed through O-HO hydrogen bonds.
