Abstract: The Zr atom in the title salt, (C₁₀H₁₀N₂)₂[Zr(C₂O₄)₄], is chelated by four oxalate anions in a square-antiprismatic geometry. The cations and anions are linked by short N-HO and long C-HO hydrogen bonds into a layer structure. The Zr atom lies on a special position of site symmetry 2.
