Abstract: In the title compound, C₃₅H₄₂O₄, the chromene ring is in a distorted half-chair conformation and the cyclohexadienone ring adopts a screw-boat conformation. Intramolecular O-HO hydrogen bonds involving the carbonyl and hydroxyl groups are observed.
