Di--pivalamidato-bis[dicarbonyl(triphenylphosphine)ruthenium(II)](Ru-Ru)

Abstract: The title dinuclear ruthenium complex, [Ru₂(C₅H₁₉NO)₂(C₁₈H₁₅P)₂(CO)₄], has been synthesized from Ru₃(CO)₁₂, pivalamide and triphenylphosphine. The structure shows a Ru₂(CO)₄ sawhorse backbone with the two OCNH bridges being transoid with respect to each other.
