Piperazinium fac-tris(salicylato-²O,O')titanate(IV) dimethylformamide solvate

Abstract: In the title compound, (C₄H₁₂N₂)[Ti(C₇H₄O₃)₃]·C₃H₇NO, the Ti^IV ion is chelated by three bidentate salicylate ligands in an octahedral geometry. The arrangement of the hydroxyl O atoms about Ti corresponds to the fac geometrical isomer. The component species are linked by N-HO hydrogen bonds into a layered structure.
