Tris(L-argininium) hexafluorochromate(III) trihydrate

Abstract: The title compound, (C₆H₁₅N₄O₂)₃·CrF₆·3H₂O, is isostructural with the vanadium analogue. One of the argininium cations is partially disordered over two different conformations. A complex network of N-HO, N-HF, O-HO and O-HF hydrogen bonds supports the structure.
