Abstract: The title compound, C₁₆H₁₇NO₅, crystallizes with two molecules in the asymmetric unit. The dihedral angles between the furan and benzene rings are 26.38 (13) and 28.52 (14)°. The molecules are linked by N-HO hydrogen bonds, leading to dimers.
